If you would have told me a few years ago that my students would be taking tests, turning in work, and getting assignment materials from an online learning management system (LMS) in my class, I would have thought you were crazy! Now, I cannot image how I was able to do it before turning to my LMS. This blended approach to teaching is a hybrid of traditional and digital instructional practices that allows more flexibility in the classroom for both me and my students. The following presentation materials have been used in the 2012 k12online Conference, the Michigan Art Education Association 2012 Conference, as well as the Keynote presentation for the Association of Indiana Art Educators 2012 Conference, the 2013 Arts and Technology Conference at Oakland Schools, and the 2013 National Art Education Association Conference in Fort Worth, Texas. I have also presented on this topic as a keynote speaker for the 2013 Ohio Art Education Association Conference, the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District 2014 Professional Development series and will be presenting at the 2014 MACUL Conference in Grand Rapids, MI and 2014 NAEA Conference in San Diego, CA in March.
